It all started when a tree met a pasture fence after a storm over Bashaw, Alberta. Ty was sent out to mend wires. A cowboy by trade, making a cowboy’s wages, he looked at the wayward timber and asked himself a question that would change his life... “How hard can it be???”
With that, he set out to build his first piece of rustic furniture, the type of stuff that he could never afford. It wasn’t great, but what a boring story it would’ve made if it was.
It was when Ariel entered the picture, with an obsessive eye for detail and an artists flair for design that the product took on a new identity. Bringing with her the understanding that quality is equal parts form & function.
Coming from humble beginnings, the pair wanted to send creations into the world that would be handed down for generations. Pieces that would earn their keep over and over again. And while still staying true to their roots, the pair is excited to start expanding Into western inspired boutique products!
